Privacy policy
This site collects no personal data beyond anonymised, aggregate analytics. There are no user accounts, no advertising trackers, and nothing is ever sold. If you email the editors, your message is used only to reply to you.
What this site is
Pattaya Vehicle Rentals is a static editorial publication. There are no logins, no user accounts, and no forms on the site that store what you submit. You can read every page without identifying yourself in any way.
What we collect
We use analytics only to understand, in aggregate, which pages are read. Two tools are used:
- Google Analytics 4, configured with IP-address anonymisation, for aggregate page views and general patterns.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless, for aggregate traffic measurement.
Neither identifies you. We do not collect your name, your precise location, or any contact detail — unless you choose to email us.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets analytics cookies in your browser. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and sets none. The site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and Google provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
If you email us
If you write to [email protected] — for a correction, a tip, or any other reason — we keep your message only as long as needed to deal with it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share your address.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Google Analytics. Each of those companies processes limited technical data — such as your IP address and browser type — as part of delivering the site and the analytics, under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and encourage you to read.
Your rights
Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) gives individuals rights over their personal data, including the right to ask what is held and to request correction or deletion. Because this site holds essentially no personal data, there is usually nothing to act on — but if you have a question or a request, email [email protected] and we will respond.
Children
This is a general-audience travel publication and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date on this page changes with it. Material changes are reflected here rather than announced separately.
