Accessibility statement

Our target

We build every page to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of the engineering standard, alongside performance and security — not as an afterthought.

What we have done

• Semantic structure — proper landmark regions, headings in a logical order, and a “skip to content” link on every page.
• Keyboard operable — every link, button and control can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
• Colour contrast — text and interface colours are checked against the AA contrast thresholds.
• Responsive and zoomable — the site is mobile-first and remains usable when text is enlarged.
• Reduced motion — animation and smooth scrolling are switched off for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
• Screen-reader considerate — decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology, and meaningful images carry text alternatives.
• Self-hosted fonts — no third-party font requests, for reliability and privacy.

Known limitations

We would rather be honest about where the site is not yet perfect:

• The mobile navigation menu opens with JavaScript. With JavaScript disabled, that menu will not open — but every link inside it also appears in the page footer, which works without JavaScript, so no part of the site is unreachable.
• The site is actively growing. New pages are built to the same standard, and accessibility is re-checked as the site expands.

Reporting a problem

If you use this site — with assistive technology or in any other way — and something does not work, such as a control you cannot reach, text you cannot read, or a page that traps keyboard focus, we want to know. Email [email protected] with the page address and a short description, and we will look into it and reply.
